My husband and I officially launched Fedora Media in 2011. In 2020, I left my job, making this my full-time career, and it’s been one of the most rewarding decisions of my life.

I adore meeting new couples and helping them navigate the wedding planning process, easing their stress to ensure their day is everything they've envisioned. I’m fortunate to work with an amazing team, and my strengths in organization, event planning, and creating detailed timelines make this career a perfect fit for me. I specialize in crafting stress-free timelines and connecting couples with the right vendors, allowing for a seamless planning experience.

My signature approach is focused on realistic planning so couples can fully enjoy their day without missing anything. My favourite moments come after the wedding when I deliver their wedding gallery and hear about the joy our couples share while reliving their special day.

It's no secret I love seeing our work in print, and in April of 2023, we were honoured to have our work featured on the cover of The Knot Magazine. I can't wait until we get another cover!

The best compliment I can receive is knowing I’ve helped couples feel at ease on their wedding day. My vibe is organized, detail-oriented, and being attentive to our wonderful couples. A fun fact about me is that I’ve hiked the entire Bruce Trail, which was a life-changing experience.

My advice for those planning a wedding is simple: focus on what brings you joy, and don’t sweat the small stuff.

My journey into wedding photography began when I gifted my wife, Holly, a Canon Rebel XTi for our anniversary. Inspired by her passion for photography, I soon found myself borrowing (or rather, “stealing”) the camera to capture everything around me.

I stand out in the industry by focusing intently on composition and colour theory to tell a compelling story through my images, constantly scouting for the best locations and lighting. My approach during weddings is to put couples at ease, using humour and genuine interest to match their energy and the day's vibe.

My favourite moments to capture are the first looks, as they hold such magic. One of the most memorable weddings I experienced involved a county-wide search for a runaway dog that I helped rescue—an adventure that made the day even more special.

I'm particularly proud of using my skills for community good, such as directing the rebranding video for the Cambridge Food Bank. The best compliment I receive from clients is their astonishment at how I captured candid moments they didn’t even notice I was there for.

If I had to describe my vibe, I’d say calming, nerdy, and confident. A fun fact that surprises people is that I also fly drone shows!

My advice for couples planning their weddings is simple: do what makes you happy, regardless of others' expectations. 

My journey into wedding photography began 18 years ago at my own wedding. Instead of hiring a professional, I bought a camera, hoping a family member would capture the day. Although my wedding was beautiful, the photographs fell short, demonstrating the importance of hiring a professional for such significant events. This experience led me to enroll in a photography program, shaping my passion for documentary-style photography, where I focus on capturing candid moments and expressions.

One of my favourite moments to shoot is when a couple sees each other for the first time—there's an undeniable look of love that’s captivating. I cherish the opportunity to witness the coming together of families, especially during culturally rich ceremonies, like a recent Middle Eastern "zaffe" in London, Ontario, filled with drums and dancing.

I'm proud to have had my work featured in Vanity Fair Italia and to be recognized as a Top 10 Canadian and Top 50 International award-winning member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association. A memorable compliment from a client was, "You are really good at what you do."

My vibe as a wedding photographer is laid-back yet ready for action, low-key, and friendly. I can't live without my "pet pouch," which holds extra batteries, cards, and mints—it's a lifesaver!

A fun fact about me is that I previously studied fashion design and sold my knitwear creations.

My advice for couples planning their weddings is to read contracts carefully, request full wedding galleries to assess photographers’ adaptability, and check reviews. Friends and clients describe me as kind, friendly, and talented.

I love photographing couples on one of the happiest days of their lives. I discovered my passion for photography and videography in my early 20s as a hobby, and it has since become a meaningful honour to document couples’ special days. I understand the significance of capturing moments that will be cherished for generations.

My style is soulful and timeless, emphasizing real and authentic moments. I particularly love the couple's portrait sessions and sunset photos, which capture the beauty of their love in golden light.

Some of the most memorable weddings I've captured are those filled with love and laughter among family and friends. Working with the Fedora Media team has also been a highlight of my career, as I've learned from some of the best in the field. Clients often compliment my ability to make them feel comfortable, even when they’re nervous in front of the camera, and they appreciate my calm demeanour amidst the wedding day chaos. Friends and clients would describe me as attentive, creative, and easygoing.

A fun fact that surprises people is that I am an Ontario Women’s Boxing Champion and have trained in Muay Thai and martial arts for many years.

My advice for planning a wedding? Hiring a wedding planner is worth it so you can fully enjoy your special day!

My journey into wedding photography began with my love for making short films. I’ve garnered many compliments for my sunset shots, which have become a signature part of my work. To ensure a relaxed atmosphere, I immerse myself in the wedding party, allowing everyone to feel comfortable when my camera is pointed their way.

One of my favourite moments to capture is the bride’s morning, where I focus on glamorous shots and meticulous details.

A standout memory for me was capturing an 800-person wedding; as everyone danced on the second floor, the floor bounced in a way that reminded me of a scene from Jurassic Park. I’m particularly proud of a custom wedding film I created this year, featuring original music composed by the couple, which they loved from the very first viewing. A heartfelt compliment I received was, “LITERALLY SO AMAZING! Thank you for capturing this so beautifully.”

Friends and clients would describe me as chill, fun, and focused. A fun fact that might surprise people is that I absolutely hate pickles.

My advice for couples planning their weddings is to leave more time for events than they think they need; you don’t want to plan too many things and miss out on enjoying your special time.

Over my 15+ years as a wedding photographer, my inspiration has evolved. While the love story drives my creativity and storytelling, knowing that I create images cherished for generations fuels my passion even more. I had a memorable wedding recently that took place across several meaningful locations for the couple, including the groom’s grandmother’s house for the ceremony and their favourite bar for drinks—it was a day genuinely designed for them. 

The best compliment I can receive is being invited back to capture more memories, and I love hearing that I make clients feel comfortable during their weddings. Three words I would use to describe my vibe are warm, fun, and romantic.

I’ve always loved photography, but my passion for capturing love stories and immortalizing the best days of people’s lives is what truly draws me to wedding photography.

My background in journalism sets me apart, as working in news taught me to tell stories authentically, translating into a documentary-style approach that captures moments as they happen rather than staging them.

A fun fact about me that surprises people is that I’m not a big movie person—I haven’t seen most “classic” films, as I prefer music and books instead.

After 10 years in the photography world, I still can’t pinpoint what exactly launched me into this field, but I know my extroverted nature and love for connecting with people have played a significant role. Photography allows me to help create unforgettable moments that couples will cherish for a lifetime. I pride myself on crafting personalized client experiences, getting to know each couple's unique vision and tailoring the process to suit their needs. This ensures they feel supported and celebrated every step of the way.

My approach focuses on making couples feel at ease, blending candid moments with gentle prompts to create a relaxed atmosphere where genuine emotions flourish. My favourite part of the wedding day to capture is the reception, where the celebration truly comes alive, and I often find myself dancing alongside guests!

One of the best compliments I receive is when past couples become my biggest cheerleaders, supporting my work long after their weddings. They share their love for the memories we created together, which reminds me why I love what I do. My vibe as a wedding photographer can be described as adaptable, enthusiastic, and a hopeless romantic.

A fun fact about me is that my middle name is Quinn, following a family tradition of women using their middle names.

Becoming a wedding photographer and videographer allows me to capture the best day of people’s lives, which I consider a wonderful way to spend my time.

One standout skill of mine is my ability to make "30-second friends," quickly connecting with couples and their families to create a relaxed atmosphere in front of the camera. I’m always on the lookout for those poignant moments that let couples relive the emotions of their wedding day time and again.

My favourite moments to capture are the heartfelt speeches from parents, which often bring tears of joy.

I take pride in my first video project featuring Paul Mason as “Fashion Santa,” which was showcased on CTV.

The best compliment I’ve received is when families tell me they loved being around me during their special day. My vibe is fun, easy-going and hilarious.

Transitioning into wedding photography felt like a natural evolution for me after many years of experience as a photographer. Clients began asking me to document their special days, and I quickly discovered how much I enjoy capturing the magic of weddings. These celebrations are filled with joy, love, and unforgettable moments, offering endless opportunities for beautiful images.

One skill I’ve mastered is building rapport quickly, especially with those who may not be comfortable in front of the camera, allowing for more natural, authentic reactions. My style is classic, focusing on context to capture the essence of each moment.

My favourite part of the day is the first look; there’s something magical about witnessing the couple’s emotions as they realize their special day has finally arrived. 

The best compliment I received was from a client who appreciated how seamless I made their experience, especially capturing a touching moment with her ailing grandmother. My vibe as a wedding photographer is chill, jovial and empathetic.
